Easter at Camp Casey - final set of pics
Here is Lela as Babs Bush taking questions from her audience.

The saddest and most beautiful site - the crosses.

Military Families Speak Out.
The woman on the far right in the hat told us she got so disgusted while her daughter was in Iraq
that she stood on the road in front of her house holding a sign protesting the war. Then she traveled 80 miles to attend the nearest protest.

Ann Wright greeting Rev. Lowrey

The map creators standing in front of their masterpiece.
They have had a map like this at every Camp Casey gathering for the attendees to write their names on. This one was pretty funny. Wyoming was deliberately small and the eastern part of the US has an extra body of water due to global warming.

Another great t-shirt

Terry, the BEST cook in the world

They about ran out of room for tents

The awesome kid playing with the bush doll at the bush store

WILL PITT!!! This car is being driven all over central Texas -
with an awesome quote by YOU in the back window. I searched until
I found the owner. Guess what - she isn't even a DUer!

4. Thanks so much for sharing all your pictures!
I do have a question. Are those red cups in front of a lot of the crosses?

6. Yes they had candles in them
It was beautiful when they were all lit. But the wind didn't cooperate. So I couldn't get a picture of them lit.

7. Isn't that the coolest?
I was walking around taking pictures and I found that car! Then I spent the rest of the evening asking who it belonged to. It is one of the wonderful staff members at the Crawford Peace House. She told me she lurks here but never posts.

11. Thanks, proud2Blib! Your pics bring back such good memories
I hope to see you in August for the 1 year reunion. All of us that followed Cindy to the ditch share a bond tighter than Skull and Bones! :grouphug: I think PuraVidaDreamin (Camp Casey's first medic!) is planning to return in August also.

I hope to meet Cindy in August. I went to CC the day after she'd left to be with her mom. Her presence was everywhere, though.

Her latest "Welcome Home" message about the Easter gathering is one of her best.
