Bush-Be-Gone Index closing in on record high from October
In October, apparently due to the Myers Supreme Court nomination fiasco, the Bush-Be-Gone Index was pushing past 4200.

Now, due to something Bush is doing to especially upset the American people, the index is pushing up close to the record high. It stands at 3566 today.

Everyone please help me by coming up with good hypotheses why the mood for removing Bush has so elevated in just the past couple days. Is it because of sabre-ratting at Iran, or because of additional reporting of impeachment possibilities, or something else?

1. I think people, even Republicans, are...
...beginning to realize the terribly serious consequences an attack on Iran will have for America:

4. If the index is based on web searches...
and any of those searches mention "impeachment" then the new Neil Young song might be generating an impact.

8. It's based on activity in blogs and discussion boards...
over the past six months. It's not scientific, and sometimes succumbs to the whims of search engines, but in general, it seems to work as a fair indicator of the national mood (in my humble opinion).
