9. But once those troops come back from Iraq:
(1) Bush loses his already deployed Army; and,

(2) Once they're back, everyone will lose their focus on Iraq and will center it domestically on him.

6. That's been my take.
Someone aksed yesterday whether firing rummy would be good or bad for Bush politically. I mentioned that it would be suicidal for basically the same reason, though I added that firing rummy would dredge up a lot of old press coverage of the start of the war, in which (retrospectively) nobody in the administration comes off looking good.

8. Pretzl Logic From A Potato Head
OK...so lemme get this right so I can bankrupt my business. If I have a manager whose ineffective...not only that, whose track record has been abysmal and has destroyed the moral of the employees...and if I let him go, I'm hurting myself? WTF Planet does that hack come from?

Or ya think Timmeh would give a Congressional Medal of honor to that Buffalo kicker who shanked the winning field goal during the Superbowl and claim that if he had been cut from the team it would have been saying the entire team is a failure?

Boooosh can't fire Rummy...only Chenney can.

14. I didn't think that many asshats could be in the same room.
Why on earth would you listen to 'Russert (Asshat - nbc) and Imus (Asshat - nbc)'? Nothing else on?
