1. *Sigh* - Here we go again
That's the Bush motif - boil elections down to a worship of money. Argh, I hope the people will see through that bullshit this time around and not make the same mistake again.

2. "Instead," paraphrasing Bush
"We in the GOP will simply transfer your tax debt to your children and grandchildren. Aren't we generous?"

The Republican solution.

on a regular basis, he just doesn't have the stones to tell people that he's doing it. The only people paying less today than they were before the idiot was appointed prezdent are the assholes in power. God I hate that little cocksucker.

14. yup. i had to plan carefully to avoid the amt in 2005 and will get bit
in 2006. middle class tax hike by inaction.

plus, my real estate taxes will be going up by i think 8% once the school levy passes. they need the money due to rising health care and energy costs.

i will avoid nj state taxes only because mrs. unblock has dropped out of the work force to be a stay-at-home mommy. but i still have to pay ny state taxes, which i can't see going anywhere but up in the near future.

He forgets the crucial modifier: on the rich!

I believe in keeping taxes down for the lower and middle classes, but those who earn over $200,000 a year certainly aren't paying enough right now. I'm a big believer in more income equality.
