Fact: It's over for Bush and the Republicans
I really feel it. They are done. Somehow it is finally happened.
hannity can bite me. O'reilly is an ogre. Bush is a freak that always
lies on everything.

America gets it. They do not trust those Republican jerks.

Help me celebrate. All we have to do now is put forward what
America needs.

Happy. Healthy. Be wise.

2. I sure hope so, but the fact is....
Nobody has EVER gone broke betting on the stupidity of the American public.

But by god this would be a WONDERFUL time to lose that bet...

8. Nixon was an amateur compared to this gang.
I lived through those days too. I disliked Nixon and Pat but I abhor this regime.

15. I was glued to NPR during
the nixon take down. I even took a radio out to work in the garden. I celebrated the night he announced he would resign. I felt a sense of relief when that helicopter lifted off the ground. This time around, I want crimes against humanity trials, I want these rat bastards on display for the entire world 2 throw rotten eggs & tomatoes at their heads. I want them 2 PAY!

4. Can't Celebrate Until After the 2006 Elections
We have to win elections to regain power

Bush may be toast, but the toaster is still on and it's cooking up ways to demoralize us, make us give up, maybe even give the false impression that "we've won" so now it's time to celebrate?

6. Nope, the worm has definitely turned
When a half dozen general are out there saying

"Rummy hang it up"

That means "Bush. You are a cooked ass"

It is officially OVER.

14. I do believe
you're right. There's something in the wind. It seems that the wind has changed direction.

The way they're acting in the White House, you can tell that desperation has overtaken them.

I think the first time I saw it for sure was last year, right after the Katrina devastation. Bush was flown down, I don't know how many times. This was the BIGGIE when Americans were seriously pissed. Bush shows up, promises the Moon and the stars, in desperation.

Somebody posted some photos after that speech. Bush was slumped over as he trotted back into Air Force 1. His arms hung at his sides. I could tell then:

IT'S ALL OVER.

16. The conservative movement has gravely shot itself in the foot.

They are now stuck with the image of being quacks, fundies, thieves and liars. We gave them enough rope and they have succeeded in hanging themselves.

They own the media
They own the voting machines

Soon they'll own the pollsters.

Unless the people do something drastic or the corporations decide the republicans are bad for business, I am not convinced.

19. They are far from done!!
Don't forget, they've still got Iran in their crosshairs and are talking about nuking that country. Until someone takes the "toys" away from them, these criminals will keep on killing and stealing.

They are now like a cornered animal, and they will do anything to keep their power. That, to me, is a very scary thought.

30. Increasingly, they do so at their own peril...
in the sense that the public is seeing beyond the media and beginning to view some media figures with the same skepticism as they do the misadministration and their Brand W republicans in Congress. This means some media outlets or media 'figures' are positioned to have a shrinking audience - or a more and more focused audience (eg the true believers, but only the true believers - with all others tuning out.) For those pitching specifically to the true believers - no change. To those purporting to be pitching to the public - expect more and more of the public to tune out.

23. I think you're right.
All Bush has to do to lose is act. When it comes down on these guys its going to come down hard. Since they don't compromise, opinion won't either. People will snap from being supporters to being betrayed and thinking they are lunatics.

25. they reaped the whirlwind
Katrina.

We have to remember the amount of luck on our side and bad luck on their side that has led to the exposure of the Emperor and the BFEE. Had things rocked along well for them we might still be fighting the uphill battle against all odds. As it is now, we are seeing an awakening in the general public that is gratifying, no thanks to the mainstream media. But we must take a hard look at what has happened in the l;ast 5 years, and understand how far we really are from our ideals of Democracy in this country. The forces against us are still very strong, even if the Bushies go down.

They underestimated the "insurgents." We may have the insurgents of Iraq to thank for giving us back our own country.

33. There are still some battles to wage, but yes, things are a lot bluer
today than 6 months ago and bluer still from November 2004.

(And let's see what the future brings for further disclosures in Ohio...)

The Bush administration thought it would be in a far better position right now.

It definitely isn't.

Plenty of work to do for 06, so everybody consider volunteering to help a local Dem get elected.

34. This is just like the Bush Administration.
Stating something as fact when actually you are just asking us to believe in your faith that's it is over. The fact is they are still in charge of everything. Sorry I won't start celebrating until those bastards are the MINORITY party in the House and the Senate. Then it will be over for the pukes. Until then it's just another sad day for America.

you can bet they'll try to jump ship like the dixiecrats did in the 70-80's. Don't let the repuks in, zap'em in the primaries too. They are like a bunch of rats, if there isn't a rat wall, they will just burrow into our home.
