APOLOGIES to those of you listening to Head On. VERIZON SUCKS!!!
We have a VERY expensive Verizon T-1 to our studio, and that is supposed to have a 99.999% availability. But every time there is thunder, it drops offline, and Verizon will NOT deal with the issue.

We need to sue them.

We bought that because it was supposed to be more reliable.

3. No kidding. I just recommended a T-1 to a friend who is
having trouble getting fiber-optic service AND phone service.

5. This is clearly tortious on the part of Verizon.
There is no excuse for this. I believe that there is some spot in the wiring where water is getting into their lines, or where there is a bad ground. And they refuse to do anything.

7. Well, my friend has been trying to get them to fix her DSL for
a year. Every day, Verizon sends a new crew. When they show up, they tell her, O yeah, we can fix it. By 3 PM, their packing their equipment and practically running. Her yard has been dug up, cable has been ripped out an relaid...it's a nightmare. Then she called Comcast to see if they could do anything, and the same thing happened. Someone finally told her, we don't know what the hell we're doing because fiber-optics is so new. We're used to copper.
Verizon sucks, bigtime.

10. Sorry, no.
As soon as there is ANY rain this line dies for us. They were supposed to have "fixed" it over the weekend, but here it is Friday, and its raining and down we go.

VERY upsetting.
