An Iraqi Math Puzzle
Edited on Fri Apr-07-06 04:56 PM by Montagnard
Last year the Pentagon routinely estimated that there were around 20,000 insurgents under arms. The Iraq Index with the data being put together at the Brookings Institute (www.brookings.edu/iraqindex) reported 23,500 insurgents killed or detained.

The question is where did the extra 3,500 insurgents come from and why are there still insurgents carrying out car bombings.

Sounds like Rumesfeld, and Bush are playing the ole Vietnam numbers game to me. Remember the VC were down to nothing, that is until they occupied the American Embassy, Hue and pushed south of the Perfume River during Tet.

1. If Buxh has his way, we'll be there when the "dead enders" have kids
They pull these numbers outta there collective asses to suit their purposes anyway. I believe nothing from this White House anymore.
