What the hell happened to Innocent until proven guilty?
What we know......People convicting in print before any kind of hard facts are actually known and presented other than hearsay. A poll here shows a vast majority that frequent here supporting the defendant but an unusually high number of posts against her....particularly vehement posts I might add.....and many by people with low post counts (ok so my count is less than 1000 suspicious of everyone).... methinks someone is stirring the pot.

I do realize there are legitimate opinions contrary to mine........but geeze louise I do think there's other things afoot here trying to divide us all on this issue.

3. McKinney perhaps??
I'm just using the negative McKinney post to increase my ignore list. I figure the one with the biggest ignore list -- finishes first.

2. There are...
...at times, people who come to this board with the sole intent to 'stir things up'.

They eventually go away, sometimes buried, sometimes with their tail between their legs, but always, they go away.

Look at it as someone having fun. A sick, perverted kind of fun, yes, but still fun, for them.

We are a tolerant bunch, as we should be, and this too shall pass. But the stolen elections shall not.

5. Yep, trolls and instagators. No doubt about it. People pretending like
they are seeking honest debate. Bull!

A biblical phrase comes to mind: Wolves in sheeps clothing.

7. You're right.
We should give Tom Delay the benefit of the doubt.

9. You're right, its wrong to assume Delay is guilty.
People should be ashamed of themselves. Innocent until proven guilty is a bedrock principle of our nation. To hear the way people talk about Tom Delay, you'd think he's been convicted of a crime.

Isn't it ironic, don't you think?

10. She IS innocent UNTIL proven guilty...Arrested is not guilty
but the process calls for investigation and arrest if evidence indicates a crime was committed.

I have said and I continue to say. If she struck the officer she should be arrested.
That is not proof of guilt, the guilt process is decided during trial by judge or jury. McKinney's choice.

let the process play out.

11. in a court of law, for a criminal conviction, that is true, BUT ...
But we're not on a jury.

I think attempting to use the old "innocent until proven guilty" is disingenuous. Unless we live in their state, we are NOT going to be in any jury pool.

ERGO,

We can say and feel whatever we want to!

This is a conversation, and like all conversations, full of opinions, lies, half-truths, and conclusions.
