If Moussaoui had told them about the 9/11 plot in advance,
what are the chances that they would have believed him, much less do anything about it in time to stop it? jr didn't appear to be very concerned about terrorism in the summer of 2001, and I doubt that Moussaoui would have gotten his attention.

1. There would have been
plenty of functionaries who just chalked his story up to being a nutty wannabe.

3. If PDB titled "Bin Laden Determined to Attack Inside the U.S" didn't work
...to motivate Bush & Co. to stop their big ass vacation in 2001 and start alerting folks of the growing threat, how can they put all the blame on this one terrorist?

5. However, they are assuming that the government would have
acted had he said anything. He will probably die for this very optimistic and face saving assumption.

4. I was thinking the same thing. Another red flag for the incompetents
to ignore either by accident or on purpose.

6. In a sense it is an attempt to absolve the government from all blame
it's all Moussaoui's fault, if Moussaoui had told us, we would have stopped it, we promise!

7. It would've been filed with the 'chatter' foretelling the event...
Remember, there was so much chatter they didn't know which to take seriously...then they get this guy in court and act like they'd have done something on his say-so.

8. I can imagine jr's reaction if someone had told him about this
while he was out weed whacking in crawford. "Moussy who?" "You gotta be kidd'n me right?" "Here, get me that rake"

9. What is most frightening ...
Albeit I do not believe in Capitol Punishment, it would not really trouble me to see him meet Allah. However, when we execute him, we will be unleashing exponential more budding terrorists. It's like Islam's version of "manna from heaven" for Bin Laden and his recruitment of legions of suicide bombers.

Bush-Co. Administration and Republican Representatives are so full of self-righteousness and drunk on their military might. Like the heartless Right Wing Fundies, they have no capacity to see that executing this man only serves to bolster up Bin Laden.

It sometimes seem that the Bush Administration and cohorts could not have f**ked up this world, both diplomatically and environmentally, any more if they actually TRIED!

Little Boots? Indeed. May God have mercy on our souls if we don't vote these nut cases out. :(

11. FBI completely IGNORED Flight Instructors.
It wasn't until Democratic representatives Oberstar and Sabo intervened in Washington, did the FBI get off their hands and bring in the guy who "wasn't interested in taking off and landing, just in turning and using a GPS."

Then, after Moussaoui was brought in on an immigration charge, Washington FBI sat on their hands regarding Minnesota FBI requests for a FISA warrant to search Moussaoui's laptop.

12. What a weak argument. The FBI didn't WANT to know about 9-11
The agents tried to report it and they were ignored by their superiors. The upper level of the FBI was part of 9-11 for God's sake. If he had tried to tell anyone about it they probably would have killed him. It might have stopped it and ruined the Crime Family's plan.
