Poll question: DU '08 Presidential Primary Poll, March, 2006
Who do you vote for in the presidential primary?

Note: I'm adding Al Gore to this one, since there is an outside chance he will change his mind and actually run.

2. This is enigmatic...

What are Feingold and Clark's middle names? Theirs are the only mysteries in the poll. :P

Edit: Oh, and Biden, too, but does anyone really care?

7. that's interesting about Gore
because i don't htink he has ever been referred to with the middle name, including even just the initial.

i think it was always "Albert Gore Jr" when people wanted to give the full or formal name.

8. He hasnt
He is officially Albert Gore Jr. Looks like a lot of these guys have their mothers maiden names as middle names.

9. yeah
i think Clark's is his biological father's last name who died when Wes was a kid.

i'm assuming Bayh is the only one who is regularly referred to with his middle name .

5. Dana And Kanne
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 02:18 AM by JI7
i remember Clark's as being "Kanne". or something like that.

Feingold's is Dana.

Biden's is "Robinette".

i'm wondering why some middle names were left out also and some included. i assume it was based on whether the OP knew them.

10. You and Kleeb are just a font of knowledge!
ROBINETTE?

'Wesley Kanne Clark' sounds like the protagonist of a summer action movie.

12. I left some middle names out...
simply because they did not sound good (by my lousy judgement :) )

Wes's name sounds better without Kanne in it, and "General" in front of it.

Russell Dana Feingold. Nah...I perfer "D."

And Joesph Robinette Biden. That needs no explaination. :)

4. President Gore should get to serve his rightful term
But I'd be happy with any of them over any Republican.

6. Al Gore. I'd like to see a Gore-Feingold ticket.
But I would be happy with Russ as the Nominee. Also with Wes.

13. John Conyers
JC, as he is known to his staffers (my brother interned for him once),
had a stroke a few years back. Not enough to force him to quit Congress,
but bad enough to rule out any thoughts of higher office. This is why he
has slight tremble when he speaks.

14. Clark, Gore, Clinton , Kerry and Edwards are sure losers.
Of the others , Feingold is probably the most realistic.

16. Could you elaborate on that?
Why would they be "sure losers"? I'd just like to know, I'm not gong to clobber you or anything. ;)

15. I think Gore is the only one.....
with enough experience and guts to take control right out of the chute and turn around this mess we're in. The rest are all fine people and would doubtless be good Presidents given time, but time is one luxury we don;t have right now. 8 years of bush rule is going to be difficult, if not impossible, to repair. We need someone who can hit the ground running and I believe Gore, of all the names mentioned, is the person that can do it. President Gore. Again!

19. Bayh and Warner have the best chance of winning
Hillary will go down in the primaries

Feingold doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell

Gore...I'm starting to think might have a shot

Edwards....if only he had something to do for the next 2 years.
