Topping the "Way to Prioritize. GOP," attack violent video games
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 12:56 AM by SammyBlue
I don't care if you like or don't like violent video games. . .this is a who gives a shit? I've been playing violent games for 15 years.

My brother plays 1st person war game shooters. . .doesn't kill anyone in in real life.

Way to prioritize, Republican assholes!

BTW, I hate this Parental Advisory and the Video Game ratings shit. . .the only reason I do like it is the "M" rating tells me I should buy the fucking thing!

1. What makes them think it's not their base who's playing the games?
Us tree-hugging, guitar-strumming, organic-gardening, peace-marching, poetry-reading libruls might not be all that inclined to play Death Star - - or whatever the kids are calling it these days. :)

6. I'm not saying that some of us - - perhaps a lot of us - - don't play

these games.

I'm just saying that I expect a lot of their base plays 'em, too.

Those games and players are immensly popular, and I don't think that popularity is confined to one or two groups.

BTW, I hope they try this. I think they will show a bunch of their own folks just how nosy and bossy they are.

It's bound to backfire.

(Edited to add a thought.)

4. You have a point there
I'd like to see the demographics but there are a LOT of red staters who play video games.

7. I'll bet you are right.
In some of those red states, there's not a heck of a lot to do in the way of entertainment.

Seems like they'd be ripe for a lot of game action.

And a flag burning or two.

8. Lieberman is the one who attacks video games and other entertainment
the most, and everyone knows he's not a real Dem

We should make this a GOP issue so they will lose more of the younger voters
