It was a real turn off to me who walked the streets for Kerry who wasn't even my choice candidate...but I wanted him to win.

I want to accept Biden...I've tried to think he's a centrist and i shouldn't freak out at what he always says...how he cuts of so many Dems who tried to get the vote out and yet...he always seems to be "pandering" on the Sunday Talking Head Shows...on Tweety. The hair transplants and the fake white toothed smile he flashed at Tweety were revolting.

I just don't feel I can trust him. I'm more at revulsion than hate...but if he disses me and my Dem beliefs one more time...I might cross over to where you are...

This is the constant expectation that the amorphous sensible middle will just waltz over to the Dems with a blank check on agenda and expectations. The means of campaigning will likewise be torpid, traditional going through the motions, short on ideals, long on bland image.

This is not GOP Lite it is Political Lite. IF you are going to classically position yourself in the center this is not the way to do it. Any hint of equality between perceived "left" and "right" damns a quarter of the sensible people in the nation to the lunatic fringe? is he again going to be settling for the Undecideds, the magic 2% in the polarized America Biden is enabling that dooms any effort to overcome even modest election fraud?

Who actually are the most capable politicians in our party anyway, minus other virtues or vices? Our safest seats appear to couch the most naive presumptions.

The rw "grassroots" is spoon fed what to believe through gop mass e-mail, their churches that are on the gop payroll, and their hate radio. The gop may at times try to distance themselves from their "base", but that "base" is truly their own creation--like OBL & Saddam. When it serves their purpose they pump up the hate within their base--Terri Schiavo, gay marriage, war on x-mas etc.--then they run away from them to appeal to their more sane voters (but how sane can it really be to support what these creeps are doing to the country?).

We are individuals who do not speak with a singular voice, and to be sure we think independently. We are mostly motivated by what we remember liberalism to be/stand for, and we have to petition our elected officials on a regular basis to represent us, with occasional success.


Biden, once again, shows why he will never get my vote for dog catcher let alone any higher elected office.
