Poll question: Will Bush go bat crazy insane before he leaves office, and be caught?
Edited on Wed Mar-29-06 05:54 PM by FormerRepublican
With the whole deal - straight jacket and everything? His behavior lately has been so erratic and unstable that I seriously wonder if his handlers are hiding how crazy he is, and are currently holding off the guys in white coats with a handy little jacket for George. What do you think?

1. Being insane didn't seem to hurt Nixon (only until the GOP turned against
him) or Reagan.

2. he was droolin during one of the presidential debates
the dude's been crazier than a shithouse rat for years, our concerned public officials will do abt it exactly what they did abt ronald reagan having alzheimer's for years and saying tactful things like we launched the missiles five minutes ago

which is to say they'll do fuck all and ten years after he's out of office and no one remembers his name, they'll drag him out to be the poster boy and fund-raiser for wernicke korsakoff's syndrome

3. The true question is whether he was ever sane to begin with...
...they won't take him away in a straitjacket because it would be to embarrassing.
He may blow his own brains out however....

5. I can see it on CNN now
Guys in white suits chasing him around the White House lawn with those big butterfly nets, and Barney running after them barking.

6. It's one way to avoid testifying about anything
Nobody wanted to bother Reagan (Not to confuse his illness with "bat crazy insane").

7. He did testify, but said he pretty much remembered nothing. And
no one pressed him on it. And you're right, his Alzheimer's should not be confused with being "bat crazy insane," like Nixon's talking to the portraits in the WH.
