First Major 9/11 Movie Tracks Doomed Jetliner

The first major big-screen release recreating the events of Sept. 11, 2001 and tracking the story of the only hijacked jetliner that did not reach its intended target will soon be in U.S. theaters.


The movie, "United 93," tells the story of the doomed hijacked airliner that crashed in a Pennsylvania field on Sept. 11 and the heroic efforts of its crew and passengers.

"It will no doubt be one of the most talked about movies ever," Local 6 anchor Jacqueline London said.

This week, the public was given a look inside the film.

"Our loved ones continue to live inside of us, so we continue to be their voices," brother of victim Kenny Nacke said. "I would hope someone will walk away from hearing the feats of the passengers and crew of Flight 93 empowered -- that's why I chose to be involved in the film: not only for my brother, but so that all 40 of those individuals can be honored."

4. I read recently...

That the passengers, according to the flight tape that never was publically released, never made it into the cockpit. How could they have done anything to "take down" the plane from the passenger cabin? Also that the famous "Let's Roll" quote was more likely than not "Roll it" referring to a beverage cart.

I believe it was a shoot down because of the debris being scattered so far that would only occur with an impact at a high altitude not hitting the ground.

5. Cheney ordered Flight 93 shot down

And it was shot down. I have two independent and unimpeachable sources who told me within days of 9-11 that wreckage from Flight 93 was found seven miles away.

And a few weeks ago, a transcript was released wherein Cheney admitted giving the order to shoot down Flight 93. The unconstitutional nature of that notwithstanding (Bush was the only one empowered to give the order), it was the right order. Why didn't Bush give it? And why are they still lying about it? I suppose because of the lawsuits that would ensue against Bush or Cheney.
