How Stupid are the US Media?!?!

Open letter to CNN and other mainstream US media outlets:

1. The vast majority of Hispanics/Latinos in the U.S. (75 percent of us) were born and raised here, including many of us who have roots here that predate the arrival of the pilgrims.

2. "Immigrant" is not synonymous with "Latino" and the media should stop pretending they mean the same thing.

3. The CNN analyst who said today "Keep in mind, Latino voters are LEGAL immigrants, not illegal immigrants" should be FIRED for sloppy thinking. MOST LATINOS ARE NOT IMMIGRANTS AT ALL, PINCHE CABRON.

5. And of those who are "illegal"

Many have been here for eons, and no one said a word. Many are GRANDPARENTS, tax payers who have been ignored by immigration, who have raised families here, and those families are US born and raised.

The issue becomes complicated when one talks about sending Grampa back over the border, minus the rest of his American Dream family--his American Dream VOTING family. It isn't just the solo guy, here for a short time, sending money back home to Guadalajara. Many have made lives here.

It's a tough issue--it needs to be addressed, but all of this punitive "felon" shit is a bit over the top. If these guys are felons, who are the accessories before the fact? Our government, who failed to secure the borders? Who turned a blind eye as long as the economy was hot? Who now are looking for a group to hate and target? The corporations and private citizens, who cheerfully hired these folks without documentation because they could get them on a three-for-one bargain basement price?

How do we punish THEM for their role in facilitating and fostering this sudden 'problem?'
