Can we say STUPID, CLUELESS bushbot ???
aarrrghhhhhh--- I know the little bushbots are clueless, but geeeeeeez.

Thanks to the wonderful people here at DU, I was directed to one of my favourite articles, titled "come back, clinton sex nation" Because I like watching little freeper heads explode, I posted it to a couple of my own boards. The following comments are from a woman who just adores *, who thinks kerry is a liar, and who is proud that her cousin is a halliburton mercenary in iraq (funny she hasn't mentioned him much since I pointed out that he was a killer-for-hire)

her comment:<<<<<<< I think it would be much nicer to be able to hold up our President as a mentor, as someone you would strive to be like, IMO I wouldn't want my son growing up to be the kind of man Bill Clinton was/is, adultry is something that I have no tolerance for. >>>>>>>>

my question: <<<<<< would you rather he grew up like the person currently in residence in the oval office? >>>>>>>

her response:<<<<<<<<Bush is a loyal loving husband and father, yes I'd rather my son was a loyal man, not a man that no one could trust, hurting his wife and child.>>>>>>

my response:<<<<<you think he is loving and loyal, and many others all over the world (including the majority in this country) think he is an uncaring, uninvolved, lying, greedy, rapacious, hate-and-fear-mongering murderer and pretender.

but, of course, your perception is your perogative.

(on edit, I will give you that he is loyal--loyal to all the corporate bloodsuckers and crooks who keep him in office)>>>>>>

would anybody like to jump in and comment--not that anything will sway her, we have been having this discussion for over a year now. but some new material would amuse me, if nothing else.

thank you in advance

1. Call him unchristian
for his fattening the rich at the expense of the poor, slashing all programs from WIC (which gives extra food to poor women and their babies) to Medicaid to senior benefits to education, then ask her what Christ said we shoud do about poor people. Call him unchristian for his approval of having his pet corporations ravage the environment, especially logging, drilling and mining on public land in public parks and his lack of enforcement of pollution laws (and weren't we supposed to be stewards of the environment in Genesis?).

Call him unchristian for his attitude to the poor, to the sick, to the prisoners, and to oppressed people all over the world--invading them and killing them is NOT caring for them.

Just call him unchristian. That is the one word that gets through to them.

2. thank you, I will certainly do that (and then listen to the fundy-apologis
whine about how much I hate the xians, which they do every time I point something like this out.)

what was that line of jack nicholson's about handling the truth?

3. Ask her if, given her view of the president, she would want her kid
to be a drunken drug-addict for 40 years to get to that point.

4. she vehemently denies the drunken-drug charges, just as she denies
that he was a deserter, just as she denies that he has lied about the war, etc. etc. I asked her once how it was that somebody as clearly delusional as she is, is allowed out without a keeper.

7. She denies the drunken-drug charges even though Bush himself
admits he was a one time alchoholic? Good luck with her...

5. Just how loyal was he during his coking and drinking years?
I'll bet he was worse than Clinton was...

6. her latest is that he and laura are . . . . .well, you will see:

her: LOL! I haven't heard anything about him cheating on his wife and family. Have you?

me: notice that I didn't say he did, did I? the whole point of the article was that the man has NO sex drive or appeal.

ITMFA

her: It would seem that Mrs. Bush doesn't feel that way.

me:and how do you know that? after all, they only have that one set of alcohol-soaked twins.

ITMFA

her: You can tell the way they act.

me: really? and how is that? because you are about the only person I have ever heard mention this.

(what do you say about the time that President and Mrs. Clinton were being interviewed, and a light stand fell--and it was clear from the way Clinton reached for her that this was an instinctive, protective and loving reaction?)

ITMFA

her: LOL! Must have a pre-nup! LOL!

8. Tell her that if her mercenary cousin is killed, mitchum will be sad...
FOR A HEFTY PRICE! I'm sure she will understand.

Honestly, I think that your intentions are good, but you will just be wasting your time trying to convince her of the truth about her beloved leader.
