Will Olbermann Expose Bush's Big Lies?
Will Olbermann Expose Bush's Big Lies?

MSNBC's Ketih Olbermann is getting dangerously close to exposing Bush's Biggest Lie - that he did not want war in Iraq.

On Monday, Olbermann exposed one of Bush's Biggest Lies, which he uttered in Cleveland (courtesy of Crooks & Liars)

"First-just if I might correct a misperception, I don't think we ever said, at least I know I didn't say that there was a direct connection between September 11th and Saddam Hussein."

Olbermann recalled Bush's 2003 State of the Union, when Bush declared: "Saddam Hussein aids and protects terrorists, including members of al-Qaeda."

"Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda in the same sentence separated by seven words. Sept. 11th and Saddam Hussein -two sentences later, separated by six words. In a moment Craig Crawford joins me to discuss the fundamental remaining question. Who does the President think he's F'n kidding?

That was yesterday. Where will Olbermann go today? I just received his promotional email who subject is Bush's Biggest Lie: "Bush: 'I didn't want war.'" Olbermann's email begins:

President Bush said Tuesday there will be "more tough fighting ahead" in Iraq, but added that "we're making progress" and denied claims that Iraq is in the grips of a civil war three years after the U.S.-led invasion. He also rejected accusations that he was determined to wage war in Iraq from early in his presidency.

5. Sheeple never notice. That is the irony of it all.
Sheeple are nearsighted, so to speak.
They only hear in the frequency range of Bo Peeps.

3. Show the PNAC signatory list !
that's a fairly strong piece of evidence that the Bush cabal
intended to invade (and planned it even before taking office)

11. I suggest him opening with a few lines from Rebuilding America's Defenses,
Edited on Thu Mar-23-06 11:12 AM by OmmmSweetOmmm
including the ones about removing Saddam, go on to the paragraph about a New Pearl Harbor, and then show the signature list.

Fade out and fade into a segnments with ex-Secy of the Treasury Paul O'Neill and that first cabinet meeting, then onto Richard Clark and how * was trying to bully him into connecting Saddam & 9/11.

Then the kicker would be the Downing Street transcripts (memos).......

For good measure you can throw in the lies about Iraq not allowing inspectors to do their jobs, the office of special plans, Chalabi's "excellent" source about WMDs...Curveball, etc, etc, etc, etc........

A woman can dream, can't she????

13. So have you sent the suggestion?
It can't hurt, and it's one step toward making the dream a reality.
We know about the PNAC. When I told my mom about it she said it was "just a conspiracy theory", I said, "no... it's a conspiracy fact in black and white and signed the perpetrators." -Mom's a sheep.

If the MSM reports it, it'll take.

as this, and I have actually caught his attention. I will pass this on to him.

21. The only thing I would add to that...
Show the Rebuilding America's Defenses document (Keith reading in voice-over), pan down to the signatures (highlight Cheney, Rummy, Libby & Wolfy). Keith: "Seems like pretty standard fare from the Bush admin...but this is from a letter to President Bill Clinton sent in 1998!"

17. Isn't it amazing that's never come out?
Why is that? Why has nobody pointed out the black and white evidence that most of the Bush cabinet had an agenda to invade Iraq dating back to the late 90's? As far as I know, no journalists and no democratic politicians have ever brought that up (though I guess it's possible they did and it was just ignored), despite people like us knowing about it even before the invasion.

Help me Keith Olbermann, you're my only hope.

9. I loved the way Keith exposed it
After playing the "I didn't link Hussein to 9/11" by B***, Keith had a look of major shock on his face and said "Are you effing kidding me". Which is exactly the reaction anyone with a brain should have had.

10. Olbermann seems to go far enough to make people think that he is a
"real" journalist, but not far enough to actually expose anything. I don't think his bosses would let him do that.

12. If so, I hope he reminds people of former Treasury Secretary O'Neill.
A top official sacked from the US Government has accused President Bush of planning for an invasion of Iraq within days of coming to office.

Former Treasury Secretary Paul O'Neill said Mr Bush was looking for an excuse to oust Saddam Hussein.

As a member of the president's National Security team he said he never saw any evidence of Iraqi weapons of mass destruction.

Mr O'Neill also portrayed the president as unwilling to engage in debate - a charge rejected by Bush officials.

"From the very beginning, there was a conviction Saddam Hussein was a bad person and he needed to go," the former treasury secretary said in an interview broadcast by CBS News on Sunday.

28. Keith has already said, no one pulls his leash.
Honestly, he's not about to get fired for saying what he wants to. If there's an audience for what he has to say, he can say whatever he wants. He said as much on C-SPAN.

That being said, help us, Olby-Wan Keithobi!
