Have you ever had a town hall meeting with your Senator or Congressperson?
This morning, I think it was, that someone on Cspan said how many days Congress has been in session and that's it's the shortest amount of days since some year long ago. (Maybe it was a Cafferty question) The reason given for having less time actually meeting was so that the congresspeople could spend more time in their districts.

I have attended two town hall meetings with my Congressional rep, but none for Cornyn or Hutchison.
You?

1. We've had a few

here and there. But the real reason Congress has spent so few days working is the Repugs were fund-raising.
Mine Senators are Dems. The Congress critter has to have town meetings or lose.

Edited to add, didn't they quit early once to avoid a vote on something? Can't remember for sure right now and past my bedtime.

DeLay is my rep. We all have KBH and Cornyn. I've gotten more mail from KBH. Who's paying for it?

4. We had one with Jim Ryun
and it was over Social Security. He brought someone with him to do the talking, he stood and said he supported Bush** and the other guy answered a few questions and that was it.

I don't remember another. It was lame.

5. yep- a few over the years.
With my congressional rep (David Price D-NC), but never either of the NC senators.
