I'd just like to say "I dont want Victory"
Victory? Win? It's not a baseball game. What the heck does winning in Iraq mean? I have gained nothing from the war in Iraq, but I have lost a lot. What possible victory could there be? There were no weapons in Iraq, my security was never threatend and there was no international support for reforming Iraq with this method. I have lost the finacial security of the nation, international respect and National security by creating a very unstable Iraq. Bush of America, meet Pyrrhus of Epiris...

Asked about former supporters who now oppose him and the war, Bush said he's trying to win them over by "talking realistically to people" about the war and its importance to the nation. "I can understand how Americans are worried about whether or not we can win," Bush said, adding that most Americans want victory "but they're concerned about whether or not we can win."

1. I agree, and I think of the French
They acted on what they knew and I knew and all of us here at DU knew to be true, and they are being Swift-Boated... because they were right. Just one more way the BushCo Regime are ass-backward.

Viva La France!

Heh! Couldn't resist:) We wouldn't have won the (first) Revolution without them. And they gave us that lovely statue that sits in New York harbor. They had every right NOT to support W and his stupid war. I salute them and their proper use of common sense.

2. In all war...
all "victories" are Pyrrhic. Any sane person could now see that after three years of unnecessary death, there is no way to "win" anything. And yes, Mr. Resident, those Americans did indeed die in vain. Try talking realistically to yourself. Ass.
