Observation made during asshat's press conference

I was at the gym working out this morning, and they had multiple monitors going on, FOX, MSNBC and CNN. And I just happened to notice that all three networks had a banner underneath that changed as the * changed subjects, displaying the talking point of the minute.

Now is it me, or are people too stupid to even understand spoken word - that they need a summary to follow?

And on another note, GO HELEN! She was the only reporter who asked any questions of merit.,
