North Korea warns it could strike US first
http://www.breitbart.com/news/2006/03/21/D8GG0D7O0.html

North Korea suggested Tuesday it had the ability to launch a pre- emptive attack on the United States, according to the North's official news agency. A Foreign Ministry spokesman said the North had built atomic weapons to counter the U.S. nuclear threat.

"As we declared, our strong revolutionary might put in place all measures to counter possible U.S. pre-emptive strike," the spokesman said, according to the Korean Central News Agency. "Pre-emptive strike is not the monopoly of the United States." (article continues)

And why shouldn't North Korea take preemptive action against the US, especially if we do take action against Iran? That would be two out of the three "axis of evil" nations, wouldn't it stand to reason (at least to Kim Jong Il) that North Korea might be next in a year or so?

We've said for YEARS now that countries are going to start considering attacking the U.S. pre-emptively. Bush started this bullshit that is totally dangerous to the world and to our national security - his staunch pre-emptive policy.

He keeps saying Iraq was pre-emptive. It was not. It was preventive. Pre-emptive is when a country is directly about to attack us and we're just fighting them first. Preventive is when we go after an enemy who posed no immediate threat, but we're just fighting them before they get the capacity to fight us.

Other countries are catching on and saying, "If you can do it, then so can we, ON YOU!"

:scared:
