Fayetteville, North Carolina - 18 MARCH 2006

This in today's Fayetteville Observer (sorry, no link that I can find):

Iraqi questions freedom's price

By Paul Woolverton, Staff Writer

Rashad Zidan of Baghdad, Iraq, came to Fayetteville on Friday to say that the United States needs to leave her country.

"We have no electricity, no security, no water, no education, no medical care," she said. "So what's the freedom of the democracy the United States (has) given to us?"

6.2 megapixels, among other improvements. Can you tell? :7

And used photobucket this time instead of my ISP space.

Truly Amazing photos. I'm so encouraged by the people who seem to be getting it all over the Country. :patriot: :patriot: :patriot: :patriot:

Those Black Umbrellas are riveting and compelling symbols for our fallen Soldiers.

13. That is inspired. So much less controversial than the crosses.
They could probably do combat boots or helmets as well.

10. Pretty cool. I'm in Raleigh, I would have driven down had I known
ahead of time. Wonder if I'll se it on the local TV news tonight? Oh wait, I forgot, it's all March Madness, all month long right now.

25. Thanks for the pix and the report! Raleigh N&O has two pix on their
Sunday front page and our local Channels showed footage. It got more coverage than last years Fayetteville Protest or ANY of the ones we've all been doing here in the Triangle. So, seems Bushies Polls down has made some difference!

27. Which evidences how ridiculous our press has been...
Last years protest was BIGGER and those people were protesting when it was less POPULAR to do so, so in a way it was BIGGER NEWS.

15. Great pix! The umbrellas are a good idea. I like the idea
of using an eveyday object to protest. There's a war on in Iraq every day, not just one day a year. :(

23. Starting to feel good about living in North Carolina
With two ineffective Republican senators and numerous reps that just keep dismantling the state, maybe I can hope that things will change.
