Saw something very depressing today...
A beat-up hatchback, probably over 20 years old, with duct tape all around the bottom of the rear window, presumably holding that part of it in place in the frame.

And do you know what I saw proudly displayed on that rear window, ladies and gentlemen?

A Bush-Cheney sticker.

Some people don't have the sense God gave a goose.

12. I tried my best to figure out how tuna and dry milk could help
I guess tuna and milk attract cats. Those cats will keep those sick birds out of your bedroom. There ya go! Makes perfect sense to me!

I see poor, hard-working folks all over LA with W stickers. It sickens me. Any poor person, or person of color, or person who detests murder should distance themselves from the Kool Aid immediately. It is in all of our best interests, but it is especially in the best interest of people that this administration is trying to eradicate.

19. Won't do much for the cat, though
The cat may end up dead from bird flu, and the last thing a cat-loving DUer wants is to have his or her beloved pet kitty end up dead.

22. From what I've read...
Edited on Sun Mar-19-06 10:05 AM by Juniperx
It hasn't jumped species... that's why I find all the fear tactics so humorous... only birds are getting it, no other animals and no humans. It's possible the virus could mutate and jump species some time down the road, but it has not happened yet.

15. Boxes of dried milk under the bed in Florida will evoke a massive
bug attack. Flour and dried package foods just draw the bugs here. I just emptied my pantry due to this. What Assholes!!

5. Well, you could look at it one of two ways.
1. Sad proof positive that people can be made to vote against their best interests.

2. Symbolic of the administration itself: i.e., if some administrations are Cadillacs or Ferraris, this one is...

7. People who vote against their own best interest
I can't figure out these type of people, they most likely voted for him either because someone told them the Democrats would take his guns away or the abortion issue. Never thinking about the welfare of themselves or family.

11. We drive between....
northern MN and the Hill Country of Texas a couple times a year. It's remarkable the Bush/Cheney signs, bumper stickers, etc. we see in poorer areas! We look at each other and shake our heads as if to say, "When are they going to learn?" I think people like this think they're with the "in crowd" with their political stickers. SAD.

In his state he knows only Bushco's policies will drag everyone else to that level. He will feel so much better when everyone else shares his poverty including his poverty of spirit.

16. LOL!
I saw this all the time when I live in big cities. An old beater, containing all their earthly possessions, sporting a "rush is right" sticker right next to the "Lose weight now, ask me how" sticker.
What suckers!

20. The cynical part of me just wants to point out that people get the
government they deserve. The owner of the car probably honestly believes if Bush gets "big government" off his back, he'll be a millionaire like the guy who's probably getting ready to offshore his job...

21. Once, in Tulsa, I walked past
a real shack of a house. Roof falling in, people so poor they couldn't pay for electricity or heat. They were cooking over an open fire in the front yard for god's sake. It was like a scene on the trash heaps outside some third-world city.

In the window......a sign....

'God Bless George W Bush'

This was four years ago, and at the time it pissed me off for the same reasons, but upon reflection now I believe it to be complete satire.

No matter how many times I hear it, it still makes me laugh.
