Fox News on the Paris protests
Edited on Sat Mar-18-06 02:31 PM by JohnnyRingo
I was watching MSNBC as they covered the protests there and switched to Fox to see their spin on the matter.
What a difference in coverage!
First off they aren't using the term protest....It's a riot.

I immediately found out that "The students and labor leaders have no founded reason to protest, and are fighting against their own better interests".

They claim that these people are rioting because they want a 35 hour workweek or guaranteed jobs. Fox "business analysts" stepped up to inform me that in a global economy.. blah, blah, blah.

Then they brought in their "law enforcement contributors" to explain the mistakes being made by Paris police by not using enough force or dogs.

Heaven help us if there's ever another Kent State style protest here. Fox News will call for the student's heads.

Click back and forth between the channels and check it out....it's on now.

1. A 2-year probation period for those under 25 is not reason
to protest? And protesting against it is fighting against your own better interests?

And the rest of the world should do the 60 hour work week we do here - damn the consequences, even if it destroys families and raises our obesity rates?

FOX is for morons.

5. Ayway, by French standards, these protests are not violent.
Only the US media can call that violent.
