Did I Hear Right? 2/3 of Americans Think Iraqis Are Better Off in Long Run
Two Thirds? I heard it on some poll the news guy on Imus was reading from this morning. 2/3 think this because saddam is gone? Are that many people really that stupid?

It's understandable and it may turn out to be the case. It's not likely - but let's not cast Saddam as some sort of saint. He was a monster.
