Get this: LIEberman doesn't care for Lamont's "tone"!!!
Lamont has blasted Lieberman for his support of the Iraq war, calling him, "Republican Light." During his kickoff speech said that unlike the senator, he would never be called, "Bush's favorite Democrat."

"This shouldn't be about one issue or about name calling ... angry name calling," Lieberman told the Associated Press Thursday. "I don't think the public wants that."

Lamont denies he is being negative, noting he spent a lot of time talking about issues such as education and health care in his announcement speech.

"I know there are a lot of people in the state who are passionately against the position I've taken on Iraq," Lieberman said. "I listen to them all the time. We talk. We generally don't convince each other to change the positions we came in with. The dialogue is important."

21. I see Lieberman got the GOP memo re: call Dems 'angry'
In classic Repub fashion, Lieberman accuses Lamont of name calling while simultaneously calling him the name prescribed for all non-DINOs: angry.

And why shouldn't Lamont 'go negative' ? If you are trying to dislodge an incumbent you have to give the voters a reason to 'fire him'.

5. So Lamont had 13% before he formally entered the race?
Against an incumbent with widepread name recognition? Let us give this some time.

7. "We Talk" ????
Thats a good one. I talk to staffers who become pretty cold when I disagree with his stance. He doesn't talk to anyone personally (unless you donate some bucks, I guess). I think Lamonte is a real threat. If Bush is at 33% in the US, he's probably around 20% in CT. Then again this is a rich state so who knows.

But he's in his political Ivory tower and way out of touch with his constituents.

I'll relish saying goodbye to gottagojoe.

8. Know what "tone" I don`t care for?
Heckuva job, Bushie.

Anything you say, Mr. President.

Lieberman better stick with ankle grabbing and leave the tone opinions to Democrats who know the difference between reasonable compromise and sellouts.

15. Does Lieberman like Bush's tone?

" Sen. Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut reproached fellow Democrats for criticizing President Bush during a time of war.

"It's time for Democrats who distrust President Bush to acknowledge that he will be the commander in chief for three more critical years and that in matters of war we undermine presidential credibility at our nation's peril," Lieberman said."

and this interesting comment from Sen. Lieberman while in Baghdad

"Time magazine Baghdad bureau chief Michael Ware on Morning Sedition this morning:

I and some other journalists had lunch with Senator Joe Lieberman the other day and we listened to him talking about Iraq. Either Senator Lieberman is so divorced from reality that he's completely lost the plot or he knows he's spinning a line. Because one of my colleagues turned to me in the middle of this lunch and said he's not talking about any country I've ever been to and yet he was talking about Iraq, the very country where we were sitting."

16. The truth hurts, doesn't it Lieberman?
Perhaps if you'd get your nose out of Bush's butt and start listening to the people you're supposed to represent, you'd have a better grasp of what they expect of you.

Hint: You are not currently, nor have you recently been doing what is expected of you by the people who put you in office.

Republican light sounds correct to me.

indoctrination that was illustrated on the Daily show. Remember? Take all the emotion out of your voice and all those things you believe in? Just don't.
