Lead story, NBC Nightly News....devastating report on airport security
Lead story, NOT the air assault in Iraq.....a NBC exclusive look at a GAO investigation on airport security, which is overseen by Homeland Security. Guess what? On many trips thru security at airports, it was possible numerous times to sneak onboard bomb-making materials.

NBC Nightly News also suggesting that the air assault may be political. Said the Pentagon now says the scope of the assault, as reported, may be "overblown" a little bit by news reports. Hmmm, maybe didn't go as well as expected?

NBC doing a good job tonight (not always, I admit), but sometimes.

3. They just covered Shrub's "strike first" policy.
I can't imagine what will happen if the maniac in the White House decides to go after Iran.

8. "Strike First Policy"
Begala made an excellent point today. He said the US has always had a "pre-emptive strike" policy if there was an imminent threat. He said bush is just labeling his "preventative strike" policy as "pre-emptive." In bush's preventative policy, no imminent threat is necessary....bushco thinks that it is perfectly permissible for the US to use preventative strikes so that imminent threat never occurs. It's a labeling misnomer...Begala!

5. Don't get me started on that bullshit. I can talk non-stop for
three solid hours about those power hungry airport security halfwits and my experiences.
