Debating Freepers is like playing "whack-a-mole"

It's just so damned easy, and it's addictive. Their responses are almost always predictable - every now and then, they'll come up with a new doozy. Today I sent this freeper scampering away on another board, he started off bashing gays and "gay flicks". I pretty much pounded him on everything from the "gay agenda" to illegal wiretaps (they can't seem to get through their heads that wiretaps are okay, but ILLEGAL ones aren't).

Here's this freeper's parting shot (with my editorials in bold):

I never once said that I Hated homosexuals (only that he thought they were disgusting, and he didn't want to be around them), I never once said they were going to burn in hell (no, but he did say it was a sin - and where do sinners go?), you all blew my opinion way out of porpotion. Then you all accuse my of being in the KKK and a neo Nazi and a racist (he's not a racist, because he has Jews & blacks that he looks up to). I may have used Fag (repeatedly, but he doesn't hate gay people), but I did apologise (because he got called on it), I don't care if you accept it or not. But I am not sorry for my views though. and you know what, you are right, it doesn't affect me one single bit. Then why did you post your anti-gay views in response to an article that had nothing to do with you at all?

So Brimtown, you can go on your merry little way and get your criterion Brokback mountain dvd and I am going on my way by not watching it.

Damn, it's just too easy. This was easily the highlight of my day, swatting him down left & right.

These guys will never be able to do nuance or gray areas. It's black and white, either/or.

2. No kidding

I hate their inane assertions such as:

"Liberals don't care about facts" (While the Freeper is pulling "facts" out of his arse)
"Liberals think with their emotions" (While the Freeper is being completely illogical and...unhinged)

I was at a right winger blog and one of the commenters literally wrote "the facts will follow" (at a unspecified time) to justify his assetions.
