So is this prima facia evidence Halliburton never intended to do squat...
...for all those taxpayer dollars they've been sucking out of the till?

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11854311/

It's pretty clear from this episode that Halliburton doesn't give a sheet about our troops or about our country. The irony is that they're a so-called defense contractor. Who ever heard of a defense contractor who works against defense?

IMO, some major, massive fraud investigations into all these Bush/Cheney cronies need to commence immediately upon a Bush ouster, and we need to force them to pay some of their looted cash back into the taxpayer till.

The unethical actions of some of these companies turns my stomach.

1. Do you expect them to cut into their profits?
That would hurt the bottom line and reduce the take that Cheney and friends get to pocket.
:sarcasm:

2. It is even worse.....Haliburton was being investigated...
for this fraud and many other instances of Fraud months ago and the Government was holding payments until the investigations were completed......well I suspect (Cheney) forced the military to pay Haliburton even with the mounting evidence of Fraud....

3. This is how the Bush Administration/Republicans put the troops first
Let them drink unsanitary water.

Let them walk around without adequate (or any) protective armour.

Move them around on dangerous roads in vehicles that are basically tin cans waiting to be blown apart by a roadside explosive.

Tell them how much you support them.

Tell them again how much you support them.

Tell them again how much you support them.

Meanwhile, they keep dying...

Yer doin' a heck of a job, Republicans! :sarcasm:

4. Bravo, FormerRepublican!
"We need to force them to pay some of their looted cash back into the taxpayer till."

You're so right, but I'd go a step further. We all KNOW what they've been up to. But once it's investigated and confirmed, they should have all of their assets liquidated (including pension funds for the upper management decision-makers), and the proceeds put into the public coffers.

I don't want these people hurt - I want them PUT OUT OF BUSINESS PERMANENTLY.

5. Dammit, give them more contracts to clean up the messes they made!
Clearly the answer is MORE MONEY FOR HALLIBURTON! I smell more no-bid contracts in the works!

6. How disgusting.......
add this to the laundry list of the ways Helliburton has been sticking it our troops that they profess to care SOOOO much about! :eyes: In a functioning administration there would be huge penalties and punishment for Helliburton not delivering goods and services paid for, but of course we don't HAVE a functioning administration in charge of our country at the moment. The bush cabal will in all likelihood reward Helliburton in some way, just as they always have, for sun-standard work.

We MUST rid our country of these crooks! :grr:

7. I say no federal contracts for companies that pay taxes elsewhere.
That should be a requirement for getting any US government contract.
