Rush Limpballs supports Feingold. NYTimes
article paints it as being used as a rallying cry for bush's base.

"" "This is such a gift," the conservative commentator Rush Limbaugh told listeners on his syndicated radio program on Monday, saying the Democrats were fulfilling his predictions. "They have to go back to this impeachment thing," he said.""

5. Hiya, Clark!
I'm doing better, although I'm not terribly thrilled with all the SNOW we are getting right now. I was gonna head home today, and Dad is virtually pushing me out the door. I told him perhaps it would be better if I stayed another day. :)

the debate before Russ spoke.

8. It's really a simple question: Did he break the law, or not?
And it's really a simpler answer: Yes.

13. They've already ADMITTED he broke the law! That is what's so amazing
By saying that perhaps the need to revisit the original FISA law, they are tacitely admitting that he has already broken it, otherwise there would be no need to even consider changing it. It is very simple logic which no democratic leader should be afraid to tell America. Why is it so hard to understand, even for those in the reddest of red states?

15. Framing the question
Senators,

Do you support censure or do you support warrantless secret domestic spying?

Which is it?

4. So a censure motion=a WIN for W? Looks like Russ completely called this
Look at the first sentence here-the rest of the article is nothing but a vehicle for the right (Rush is quoted as a credible source?) in the NYT the same instrument that brought you Whitewater AND the war in Iraq.

"They can try to turn this into their fantasy, but that is not how this comes off," Mr. Feingold said, noting that his proposal addressed only the narrow subject of the wiretapping program. "I didn't throw in Iraq or a lot of other things that frankly are pretty bad."

Still, conservatives said they welcomed the debate over censure or impeachment. Some said they were especially pleased with the timing of Mr. Feingold's proposal because it came just after the Democrats had upstaged the Republicans on national security during the outcry over an Arab company's takeover of several port terminals in the United States.

16. Good point
Like the fatboy has any credibility. His crass partisanship is already legendary.

And his record on stating stunningly obvious falsehoods is undeniable.

He truly is the last resort for any serious politician.

11. Hysterical that they equate Bill's blow job impeachment to Bush's crimes
Clinton had a 60% approval rating during his impeachment, and was a popular figure worldwide. OF COURSE there was a backlash over the republican witch hunt. But there are simply no similarities to the Bush situation. None...from whom are they expecting this great backlash, the 20% who still support criminals in office?

Rush...You're stupid!
