3. Terry (Do Nothing) McAuliffe
The only way to correctly spell his name is to include his middle name, Do Nothing.

Miss Waverly

4. Why wasn't Terry this articulate and animated when he was DNC
chair?

He did a good job! *faint* (I can't believe I said that).

6. He did a good job alot
Seemed to me when the party itself was unclear on a path is when he had the most difficulty. He made the mistake of going on the tube during those times, Howard never does. Considering the results, I'd have to say good for Howard.

5. Immigration policy will hurt us in 08
Not a security issue - it's jobs.

13. Oh, immigration policy will hurt us all right, but not nat'l security OR j
OR jobs.

I really don't believe that we here are lined up to ask for the jobs the illegal immigrants are taking.

I'll say it again (and again): The xenophobic winguts have been framing the immigration issues THEIR way for the past three years------O'LOOFAH, MALKIN, TANCREDO, HANNITY, and the rest of their sorry ilk.

We Dems will be caught flat footed AGAIN. We need to frame it OUR way: We Dems are FOR national security. We are NOT for "illegality". We are for SOCIAL JUSTICE, CIVIL RIGHTS, and HUMANE TREATMENT. Same way we are not FOR abortion, we are for CHOICE. Oh, and we are also for JOBS.

9. Terry McAuliffe is a great spokesperson for our party. Always
has been. People like to take shots at him with no specifics. He has never taken any crap for the RNC. He's always been a strong and vigorous debater. He even flat out called bush AWOL. I think that Terry McAuliffe and Rahm Emmanuel are great spokespeople for us. I prefer them to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.
