1. I must be hard to feel like there is no support for the thing
you believe in. Maybe he just had to regroup-that had to have been traumatic

2. I don't know but I liked seeing Arlen twistin' in the wind all by himself.
I have to stop saying "twistin' in the wind" about that, but it sounds so damn satisfyin! :D

3. Planned!
Stops the debate, allowing his words to sink in and everyone else to debate. He also had an urgent piece of bidness to attend to, I forget what it was.
He was originally scheduled to speak much earlier and got jacked around. This is very effective & made specter look stupid and ill at ease and ill informed. Double teaming with Durbin was good, too.

4. The Repukes try to surprise, control, change the tactics when
ever possible on Dems. Frist & Specter created last minute surprises without informing Dems. 1st - not honorable tactics, which Reid called them on before Feingold spoke. Hard to exactly describe, not knowing the rules, just knowing/feeling the nastiness of their words b/4 Feingold spoke.

There was no agreement that Feingold would stay after his Censure Resolution to enter into debate w/ Specter, and when Specter suddenly called him to stay where he was after he had finished, it was a bully tactic in appearance.
