Bush & Company In Closed Door War Meeting

Fox News radio is reporting that President Bush is in a closed door meeting with militay experts to determine the best way to fight a sustained war with Iran.

As the certainty of sanctions against Iran become apparent, Iran continues to defy the world by breaking off talks with Russia and their defiant insistence on the right to have nuclear weapons, President Bush begins to get advice on a sustained war with Iran.

The Whitehouse has said that Iran posses the most iminent danger to the United States then from any other source. Some thing must be done about their aggression and so the planning has begun.

No cites to report yet.

Developing...

3. When did they insist on having nuclear weapons?
Iran's stated purpose has always been to have nuclear power, not nuclear weapons. Think what you will of their real motives, but they've never insisted on having nuclear weapons.

4. That is one of three of his responsibilities
Edited on Mon Mar-13-06 11:30 AM by FLDem5
as long as he is also:

2. having a low-key dialogue with Iran

3. having a dialogue with other nations on how to live in a world with a nuclear-armed Iran.

As Commander-In-Chief, is it his obligation to this country to explore all three of these options fully, as one route will have to be taken one day.

...thanks to Wes Clark for the information.

(on edit: Is that how you spell dialogue? Spell check said to take off the 'e' but the word doesn't look right like that, to me at least.)

5. Same story line as Iraq...
Up the rhetoric and threats against Iran....
Closed door meetings which probably don't include Democrats...

Next....create some catastrophic event 9/11

Bomb Iran...send troop to Iran..

The * cabal is so predictable...

6. They need another war to distract the People from their crimes
Get ready for martial law- one of FEMA's original purposes was to establish martial law in the event of widespread opposition to their wars of aggression. The truth is coming out about 9/11, besides the fact that they want hegemony in the middle east to control an obsolete resource

9. I hope you are wrong, but this sounds so much like Iraq that it
could be possible. If you think about this in the context of Bush's low approval ratings, anything could happen.

10. And just what are we going to use to fight with?
The military is depleted. . .our own National Guard is deployed overseas, our ships in the Gulf would be targets for Iranian anti-ship missiles and no one else in the world is going to support us.

11. Sigh.
Just to point out, Iran is insisting on their rights to develop nuclear power, not nuclear weapons. Not that that matters.
