Lawyers for ex-AIPAC officials look to subpoena Rice, NSA
U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and national security adviser Stephen J. Hadley are among the witnesses defense lawyers want to subpoena in the case of two pro-Israel lobbyists accused of receiving classified information.

Attorneys for Stephen J. Rosen and Keith Weissman filed the notices of subpoena with the U.S. District Court in Alexandria. Rosen and Weissman, former officials with the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, are scheduled to go on trial next month.

There is no indication whether the judge in the case has considered the subpoena requests.

1. How do you think someone like Condoleeza Rice manages to get
that impassonate manner? The only time I have ever seen tears in her eyes was when her girlfriend Karen left the White House to spend more time with the family. These people have an inner circle, and everybody outside that circle are the enemy to them.

2. That is one scary picture.
But on the serious side, how on earth does AIPAC continue to avoid indictiment under RICO? What other lobbying group that advocates for a foreign state could survive routinely having its officials indicted for espionage related activities and continue to operate, exerting great influence over our foreign policy?
