"The last thing Yanni would want to do is hurt his hands"
Edited on Sun Mar-12-06 06:32 PM by DoYouEverWonder

Yanni, we hardly knew ye

March 12, 2006

With a defense attorney like this, Yanni doesn't need any prosecutors.

The luxuriantly locked schlockmeister spent 12 hours in the Palm Beach County Jail earlier this month after being charged with slapping and shaking his girlfriend during a late-night spat at his $7.7-million home in Manalapan.

So what did Yanni's attorney, Orlando Gonzalez, have to say on behalf of his client?

Did he say: "Anyone who has ever listened to his haunting, ethereal keyboard noodling knows that Yanni is a sensitive New Age man who would never, ever strike a woman, no matter what the provocation"?

No.

<snip>

What Gonzalez did tell the Palm Beach Post was this: "The last thing this man would want to do is hurt his hands."

2. apart from that nauseating statement, my only comment is, "CRIPES,
he has aged almost as badly as chimperor" I remember when he used to be reasonably good-looking (yanni, of course, NOT chimp)

3. Linda Evans has to be chuckling gleefully!
This isn't the first time Mister Hair has done some unceremonious dumping, but I guess he isn't as suave as he was in his younger years....

10. Mug shots tend to be unflattering, unless you are Tom Delay
(who has "evolved" in a queer manner so as to Beam Beatifically in his natural environmnet of jail)

4. Oh GAWD! Let's trash Yanni! Shouldn't this be in the Lounge? shucks
I know....but still...let's give the guy a BREAK....

We all do AGE....I don't keep up with him...but his music was nice for a car ride on a long trip...Who cares that he's older.....

You'd rather a "face lift" than his "hands?" sheesh.........

5. "luxuriantly locked schlockmeister"
I could spend all afternoon trying to come up with a phrase like that.

My wife once made me sit through front row seats at Red Rocks for a Yanni show with the DSO.

Only thing that made it half-tolerable was watching the symphony roll their eyes at each other.

into his hands.
What was she trying to do to her meal ticket?
