anyone else watching? 10:00 EST "I am announcing right now George." Feingold on the censure. George keeps asking, "why not impeachment?" Ha ha!

3. 'this is so much more important than anything Bill Clinton did."
I can't believe Stephanopolous tried to swing this around to Bill Clinton. What an ass he is. Thank you Russ, for clearing that up.

4. Are you sure he wasn't setting it up for Russ to say that?

5. I don't know - Feingold explained his vote
FOR a special counsel against Clinton. Then he stated that after reviewing the evidence, he voted against Impeachment. So it WAS good in that it made him look more principled than partisan.

8. There were two different votes.
"Impeachment" (like an indictiment; low standard of proof) is done in the House. Feingold had to vote on whether or not to convict (remove the president from office ). Two very different votes. He could have actually said the impeachment was justified, but that removal wasn't. I think a lot of people agreed with that.

7. Frist on Feingold, "they are out attacking our Commander in Chief"
Edited on Sun Mar-12-06 10:18 AM by FLDem5
what a shithead. Steph: "so you are saying this censure resolution weakens us abroad" He sounded a little incredulous. Frist, "the American people feel vulnerable now."

15. Bush is making the American people feel vulnerable
Frist is nothing but a lemming following the other lemmings off a cliff led by our commander in chief. The republican blind following mentality is what is destroying this country.

23. I seem to remember a "guilty" vote from Frist
on Clinton's impeachment. Guess attacking the CinC wasn't a big problem then, right?

12. Feingold was terrific. He's smart and he knows exactly what to say
We should make it clear that the dems are taking every precaution and not going to wait to say what we could have or should have done. I turned it off when Frist came on I can't stand to even watch any of these murdering liars

Brazile had some good points Also, the woman from Time "there is a sense among Democrats that they can take him on now." They are bringing up Conyers supporting Impeachment.

they were comparing the options, and mostly discussing how Democrats were free to attack now that they have more public opinion on their side.

24. Go Feingold! It's getting to the point where..
their "it's all political" and "we're in wartime" will not work. I guess Frist didn't see the latest polls.
