C-Span - free for all Carville/Dionne vs Noonan/Gillespie
Edited on Sat Mar-11-06 09:36 PM by Democrat 4 Ever
discussing abortion, homosexuality, Dems vs Reps - Carville and EJ are knocking it out of the park. Russert moderating fairly competently.

Noonan thinks if she closes her eyes and drawls some silly, inane comment that she is making a profound, significant speech. She isn't. The Reps are being made to call into account their version of "religion" and their political views and Carville is making clear, concise statements about not apologizing for being Dem and religious.

I just came upon this, will have to check out and see what I have missed.

*damn typo edit!

6. Tim Russert summed it up. Dems = Sermon on the mount.. Repubs
= Ten commandments. We say that here on DU all the time. The point is however as Christians we are all supposed to follow the new testament and what Jesus said at the sermon on the mount. That is why liberals more closely follow the teachings of Christ and we should trumpet that.

7. Peggy Noonan is a real dummy
I never realized how inane she is - and she pauses before each sentence, and acts like she is going to say something significant, but drivel drools from her mouth.

And Carville is pissed - I have never seen him so pissed. Noonan compared abortion to slavery.
