Brian Williams just said Bushes 37%
"matches Bill Clintons at the lowest point of his presidency" Did Clinton ever have numbers that low? I don't think so.

1. Yeah, they were like 2 years into his presidency...
Not after he had 6 years to prove himself and got everything he wanted every step of the way.

11. Funny how that worked out.
Moran Americans got what they wished for. They dumped the Democratic congress and voted in the most corrupt political machinery in the history of this country.

2. I don't know, but if Bush wants his numbers to rise he should
get himself impeached. Clinton went up to 70% during HIS impeachment.

It's all the rage!

Nice chart!
Conclusions:

(1) Despite a huge early lead, Bush is on average trending much more steeply downward than Nixon.

(2) The more we got to know Clinton and see his results, the more we liked him.

(3) The more we know Bush, (and Nixon) the more we hate him.

7. Excellent graph. Even after a glass of wine
I can see how Nixonian Bush's* presidency is.

10. Bingo.
Clinton's lowest ratings were in the months before the '94 elections. Elections which worked out very well for his party, as I recall.

4. For about a month in 1993.
Bush has had low approval ratings for MONTHS now, with a continuing downward trend. He hasn't been above 42% since last June.

8. Clinton's lowest approval ratings were...
between the late Fall 1993-Summer 1994. At that point his approval was just at 40%.

It would be fair only to compare first term to first term and second term to second term.
