Hope everyone is paying attention to the Food Safety Labelling debate
and is going to call congress about it. Wasserman-schulz said that it will cost $400,000 per petition if states want to petition the FDA to include a food hazard warning. Again, Republicans want to gut state food safety labelling in favor of a national labelling standard, doing away with state regulations entirely and requiring a state to petition the FDA if they want to do notify people about issues.

1. been watching on and off all day
That meat thing is disgusting! I had to take a roast back to the store a few weeks ago, that's when I found out what they had done to it.

It looked great, but when I opened it, I could smell that it was spoiling.

We already know that they change the dates on the packages, that was revealed on 20/20 a few years ago.

2. Did you hear Gingrey say "Well, we've been doing it for 4 years"
I just wanted to shout" SO FECKING WHAT!" You know, George Bush has been BREAKING THE LAW for the past 4 years and that doesn't make it right or need a change.

Gingrey also tried to equate treating food with lemon juice to preserve its color to treating meat with CO.
