4. Done
Stay the course for as long as it takes to create a genuine democracy, and, if necessary, prepare to confront other countries where leaders threaten America. 20%

Quit babying the Iraqis; give them a firm date by which the U.S. will leave, so that they know they have to get their internal security in order. 16%

Reduce troop strength quickly and remain there mainly to defend Americans and the central government. 7%

Leave immediately; every day U.S. troops are there makes the situation worse. 58%

9. Is it okay if I didn't vote for "leave immediately"?
Stupid poll has no option for "begin withdrawal immediately," and so setting a date seemed like the least harmful choice.

15. that's ok-hopefully they've printed my comment
My son has served three tours in Iraq.to all the people who support this war-pick which of your children/grandchildren/siblings/spouses/selves you are willing to sacrifice. The Government has raised the maximum age of enlistment to 40.If you are not willing to send your flesh and blood to fight, then you do not have the right to an opinion.

18. I love your Ghandi quote and am sending to all my friends. My
nephew, who is 21 years into the Marines with only 3 left til retirement, served last year in Iraq. He said if he's deployed again, he just might have to quit, which would be a shame since he would give up his pension. Your life, your pension - hmmmmm.
