Black armbands anyone? The Patriot act passed.

I know it passed on the second, but I think we need a reminder that we are screwed.

Democrat aye: 66 Republican aye:214 Independent aye:0
Democrat Nay: 124 Republican Nay:13 Independent Nay:1
Democrat absent: 3 Republican absent: 3 Independenta absent:0

Full voting list here

It's currently on the chimps desk awaiting his signature. Maybe he will have a change of heart and veto it?

Don't you just feel a whole lot safer now? :eyes:

And now this. We're moving toward a theocracy at an alarming rate. Argh, I want out! I want out! I want out! :nuke:

3. Should they come for you....
just remember, it will be for your own safety. That's what you will be told, and your family will hear the same if they hear at all. Your friends and neighbors will assume it is for your own safety, or for theirs.
Yes, it's a lovely world in the good old USA.
I understand the spying issue is all but forgotten, also. If they were doing something they shouldn't have been doing, they will stop now, and the committee will be sure to oversee all spying in the future.
It is such a load of dog doo. I want my country back.
