Some Democrats have been lobbying for government-run health care in the US. Do you support a plan that would hand over your health care to the federal government?

Do you favor the death penalty for terrorists found guilty of killing innocent americans?

Should we put an end to lawsuit abuse that is draining on our economy, ruining our health care system, and costing jobs?

Do you support President *'s No Child Left Behind Act- which is an absolute commitment to closing the achievement gap so every child can recieve a quality education and the act is producing real results for every child? (my note: Notice they didn't mention whether the results were positive or negative.)

:puke::puke::puke::puke::puke::puke:

Edit: Whoops, meant to make it a reply to the Liz Dole topic, but eh, this works as well.

5. Yeah; that and...
If you learned that President Bush, Dick Cheney and Bill Frist goes to church three times a week and that Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, and John Kerry beat small puppies with croquet mallets just to laugh at their pain, would you be more willing to vote for a Democrat or Republican?

2. Interesting
Funny that is. Usually if the results aren't in their favor they don't publish the results. The DCCC recently put a poll out and they didn't print those results either.

6. Yep!
That's a push-poll.....

If you've ever heard it over a telephone call it's even more blatant and laughable but you can just imagine what effect it has on an elderly or under-informed person...it's devastating.

7. How can I get this sent to me?
I would love to answer the questions in the proper fashion and then fill out the comments section with a bunch of "suggestions" regarding what they can do while their heads are so firmly jammed into their asses.

8. My husband had several of these mailed to him in '04 because his BMW
caused the RNC to think he was a likely republican voter. I did not get any mailed to me because I drive a Suburu.

9. I find it disturbing that any of them are SO STUPID as to answer..
I mean, OK, they support Bush, rolling back civilization to before the enlightenment, etc., but seriously, are they so stupid themselves that they can't see through the bias in these questions?

I voted for Perot in 1992 and got on his mailing list, whatever it was called. They sent me a simliar "10 point program" poll - Hey, I voted for the crazy bastard, but I couldn't bring myself to answer that poll with similar slanted questions...

10. Yes this is bad. Phrases very clearly designed to steer
idealogical position. This is propaganda. Government sponsored propaganda. How horrifying. Goebbels would be proud.

Normally, IN AN HONEST SURVEY, the designer goes to great lengths to establish neutral language. In fact they may ask the same question several different ways to try and establish if a question is biased in some way, and discard any results that appear biased.

Not in the above graphic but in the document:

Key phrases in question 4 - "liberal democrats", "reverse President Bush's tax cuts",

Key phrases in question 6 - "additional tax cuts stimulate the economy"

I don't think this is really about raising money. It's about securing a voter base. They have all the money they need from corporate sponsors and lobbyists.

They need to keep being voted into office and they are doing it by manipulating the simple minded folk in hills and valleys of our country with propaganda like this.

13. Who's poll is this??
Where's it from?

Whoever wrote this POS survey
should be publicly ridiculed and humilated.
It is not research.. it is clumsy propoganda.
