So Vanity Fair put in the same exact lies about Abramoff & Democrats

Democrats never received money from Jack Abramoff. I mean, the article so far is pretty good with exposing the lies the Republicans are telling about their relationship with Jack. But a 2 minute check on a site like Open Secrets (lists all donations made & received in politics) and you'll see the obvious:

Democrats never took one dime from Jack Abramoff. Many have received monies from the Indian tribes that did business with Abramoff, but it was the money that Abramoff was scamming from these tribes that he was using to make donations to the republican party

i found this at the top of page four:

11. I think we all need to write letters to Vanity Fair about this

and hopefully one of us will get an LTTE with a clarification about the issue. I mean, I feel like I'm being a really party-pooper here with the thread but it is in there and it's a fact that democrats never received a dime from Abramoff. And yet even with this obvious fact that can be looked up through Open Secrets, republicans and MSM are trying to spin the issue that democrats had received money

10. It was page #3 of the PDF file but the left hand side

I mean, the article comes off pretty damning to the republicans but it would have been nice to clarify that the money democrats received were from the tribes only and NOT Abramoff directly. Also there was a mention that when Abramoff started to work for them the money to dems started to decrease.
