Isn't there some way the Republican Congress can change
the Law retroactively so Kenny Boy and other Enron scoundrels can keep all their ill gained wealth and avoid prison and stay top GOP contributors? :shrug: That seems to be the "in" thing to do now to protect themselves. Law and Order what a quaint concept. How yesterday...

2. Well, there used to be a law saying
that you couldn't write a law to cover something already done. Usually it has been used to say you can't make something illegal and then arrest a person because they did it before the law was enacted-but I'd think it would work the other way, too. But, as you said, that was yesterday. I think the repukes have used the Constitution for toilet paper and don't even bother with it any more.
