1. Since the selection.

I found DU via Buzzflash or MediaWhoresOnline. I think I used to post under Denbot but lost my ID/password after a ISP change. When I joined there were 6,700 DU'rs and I thought that was a lot.. :-0

I used to go to Buzzflash after the selection in 2000, found the Top Ten and have been here since. Only joined/donated after the last 'election' though.

I remember about how Rumsfeld was supposedly planning to downsize the military.

sometime before 911. Can't remember where I found out about DU. Maybe Buzzflash..

I came home the afternoon of 911 and logged on to the internet, but DU was down. Seems like I read somewhere that the cables connecting the DU ISP ran under the WTC.
