3. Thanks!
Once did a project in art school that was very much that, only in book form.

Speeding it up is fun.

5. I've got the original film
Edited on Tue Mar-07-06 10:18 PM by Rufus T. Firefly
From 1977. Made by Charles & Ray Eames. Very cool.

First saw that at the Mid-America Museum in Hot Springs, Arkansas. When I was younger my family would go to AR a couple times a year to visit some family friends, and I HAD to go to the museum. Just to see the film again. :-)

They also have the original machines from Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang (vacuum and such) and they're constantly running. Haven't been in over 10 years though...

6. Dude, That Was Fucking Awesome. Thank You So Much For That.
At my core, there is nothing I enjoy more than science and nature. This was completely fascinating and refreshing, and from the bottom of my heart I thank you for it.

7. There's a better one that is longer and better made - saw it in the early
70's and it was also called "Powers of Ten".

This is good, but the one I saw was a lot better.

Had sound and dialog.

VERY cool.

8. The one I posted was one I found in some old bookmarks...
just now Googled "powers of ten" and got -many- results, didn't check them out but the one you're thinking of might be in there somewhere. Uh, early 70s?
