6. Don't we want DeLay to win the primary...
...he's the only reason this district is going to be competitive for us.

18. eSlate machines are used around these here parts, but
that differs around the state. Some people had the option of writing their votes down, pen and paper.
What a concept!

9. Excellent. I've been rooting for Delay
I doubt he'll even make it to Nov. He's in serious trouble re Abramoff, not to mention the Texas charges.

19. Why??? Get that bastard gone as soon as possible!
Why run the risk of him getting thru in Nov?

Losing now would be a huge blow to his inflated ego.

21. Lampson would have an easier time
against Delay than Campbell. At least that's the conventional wisdom. He even leads Delay in current polls.

22. This is a primary, right?
I know that when a person is in a predominately ruled by the party you don't belong to, it is customarily a good idea to register in the "main" party, and vote for the candidate most easy to unseat in the real election where party affiliation doesn't matter. I learned this tactic in TX so, I would say that with all Delay's problems he will be easy to unseat and it will give the "get rid of the cheats and liars" line a stronger response for Democrats candidate. SOOOOO, I say go Delay, just for the primary mind you.

10. I think DeLay would be easier to beat than his opponents. Besides,
DeLay may go to jail.

11. One key to look for is voter turnout in the Repub primary too. . .
if it is high and he wins big, we have a lot of work to do.

17. Feinman Comment Re: DeLay Election
He seems to think that DeLay will get the 50% needed to avoid a runoff. He said that were he to not get 50% today, and have to go into a runoff just to get the nomination, then he is likely toast come November, regardless of his making it that far.
