Serious question. What is the difference between praying for a Delay loss or an opponent win if the desired result is the same thing? Wouldn't either prayer be for the good of the district?
12. Praying for good and for the good of the people is a good
thing... That is why I advocate praying for his opponent but not praying against him.. Hate is not the way although I guess a lot of people believe it is... Goodness is the way, not hate....
It's just that for me, praying for a Delay loss would not be out of hatred. I honestly believe any of the other three in the primary would be better for the district.
7. You ever think it might be good for him to win.
His winning might continue to highlight the Repuke corruption that Delay represents. And wouldn't be great if he were re-elected and then indited with the Abramoff scandal? I think he is a big embarasment for the Repukes and is their poster boy.
It could be argued both ways, but man, what a crook.
If he wins the primary and then the court cases turn sour for him it might give that seat to a democrat. That would be funny as Hell! The Lord works in mysterious ways they say and the Lord might have a good sense of humor after all!
that God actually does anything in answer to prayer ( otherwise, why is Bush President?) ;>) You're IT, as are all the other voters in the numbers it would take to defeat Delay. Get out the vote!!!!
