What the office of President is NOT about

It looks like we have to remind a huge segment of America about some things about the country and the way it works.

RW'ers talk about Bush like he is the "leader" of this country. We've all read the Constitution, and that is simply not the way America works and if it started to work that way, then our Republic would be put in jeopardy.

Bush is a CIVIL SERVANT, he is supposed to MANAGE the affairs of this country, he is supposed to COMMAND the Military, that is what being the President is all about.

It WAS NOT meant to be about:
Power
Being an Agent to carry out the Agenda of Fringe Groups and the Elite
Being the Civil Servant of only certain sections of America

Bush may be the President, but he is not the Ruler of America, he is the Servant of America. If we forget that then America will slide down the road to Oligarchy.
