Its not enough that Customs and Border Patrol and the State Department regularly prevent Cuban performers from getting visas to make the Latin Grammy awards. Now poor Irish filmmaker Rory Conroy, according to Short Film (Live Action) winner Martin McDonough in his acceptance speech, wasn't allowed into the country to attend what would have been the biggest night of his life.

I'm an immigration lawyer and can tell you that this is becoming all too common. Lowly bureaucrats with Napoleon complexexs are usually to blame.

1. and students, and professors and scientists and more.
They are strangling our country and destroying what was once our biggest asset - open communications, exchange of ideas, and free speach.

3. I couldn't believe that Belbin (from Canada) of Olympic silver
medal fame had such a hard problem either. I thought our superiority complex button would've been pushed to get a medal. She's 21, white, Canadian, and I think Levin's had to intervene.

It's funny how we are so racist when it comes to the port deal (where serious illegal and deadly activities could occur!) and our gov't is afraid of a Canadian ice skater who has spent her whole life skating and most of it with an American partner, I believe in the US!
